When designing the building services systems, in addition to ensuring user comfort, special attention was given to energy efficiency and minimizing operational costs. Customer areas are connected to a central energy loop, which allows energy transfer between retail units, thereby utilizing waste heat generated within the building and reducing the demand for external energy sources. The largest energy-consuming systems, primarily the air-handling units, operate with air–water heat pumps, which, besides meeting cooling demand, are also able to generate a significant portion of the required heating energy during operation. Water-saving fixtures contribute to minimizing overall water consumption.
