Complete design of the building technology systems of the Museum of Transport, which is to be remodelled as part of the reconstruction of City Park, according to requirements conforming to BREEAM Gold certification. Exhibition halls are heated and cooled using radiant ceilings, while the lobby is cooled adiabatically.
During the design of mechanical engineering systems, museum technology rules relating to exhibits were a key consideration. In line with the requirements of the local regulatory plan a major part of the heating and cooling energy demand had to be met using renewable sources of energy.
